About Us   Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.   Martin Luther King Jr.

What drives us

My two brothers and I were raised by our mother after our father abandoned us.  I grew up seeing the abuse my mother had to endure because of her gender and economic status.  She worked three jobs just to make ends meet.  I want to prevent others from experiencing what my mother had to experience.

I started working at the neighborhood grocery store, Leonard's Market - the Kielbasa King - "not the cheapest but the best" and worked other jobs during my youth trying to help my mother.  I worked as many as four jobs at one time trying to raise my own family of 4 children.

I am a Navy veteran having served 4 years as an enlisted sailor working on Naval aircraft.

I worked for 14 years as a professional firefighter on the Wilkes-Barre Fire Department.  After suffering a broken back while on duty, I went back to school and eventually received my Law License.

I drove back and forth to Widener University School of Law in the evening while working full time during the day.

I worked for 8 years in various administration positions for the City of Wilkes-Barre, including City Administrator. I have 4 adult children with 8 grandchildren and a 8 year old daughter.
